This year’s contest marked the fourth year in a row SightMD has received three top honors in the prestigious medical / ophthalmology category. These included Best Ophthalmologist, Best LASIK Surgery Practice and Best Cosmetic Surgeon, Samuel Baharestani, MD, FACS.

“To win the ‘Best LASIK Surgical Practice’ is a distinct honor because of the popularity of the procedure and the number of LASIK providers in the region,” said Dr. Martin. “Our new iDesign LASIK procedure is state-of-the-art and offers patients the potential to see better than 20/20 vision,” he said. This is the 4th year in a row SightMD has won ‘Best LASIK Surgery Practice.’

Dr. Martin pointed out that winning the ‘Best Ophthalmologist’ category is especially important to everyone at SightMD, who is recognized as New York’s fastest growing ophthalmic provider group. “Since my father Sidney Martin, MD founded North Shore Eye Care more than 50 years ago – which has today become SightMD – we have all strived to be the very best at what we do.
