Liv Vodka is part of Long Island Spirits, founded in 2007, which is the first craft distillery since the 1800’s. Located on Long Island, the distillery is found in the heart of the acclaimed wine region on the North Fork. Made using LiV Standard Edition Vodka, crafted from locally grown Long Island corn, and canned on site, LiV Canned Cocktails are available in four flavors: Southampton Lemonade, Watermelon Crush, Last Summer Lime Fizz, Long Island Cold Brew Tea. Their indoor tasting room is open as well as the outside patio. It seems that craft distilleries may be the next evolution of the craft beer boom that has seen dozens of breweries pop up on Long Island over the past decade. The distillers at Long Island Spirits may not have quite as much competition, as there are still only a handful of craft distilleries on the island, but that doesn’t stop them from putting their heart and soul into every sustainably distilled bottle of LiV vodka. Owners and childhood friends Rich Stabile and Dan Pollicino use 100% locally grown russet potatoes to triple distill the award-winning, gluten-free spirit.
