Former touring drummer Ryan Jones had no idea that his stardom would lead him to a culinary career. When he opened Chubs’ Butcher shop in 2014, customers would constantly ask for heroes. After sending them to fulfill their desires down the street, he knew it was time to expand. Chubs Burgers Burritos and Heroes was then born in 2019. It is now a hot spot for all things hot, delicious, and between bread. Their three locations serve up a menu spanning 30 different heroes alone. Customers are given the option of each topping variation being served on a roll for $9.99 or a hero ranging from $11.99-$14.99. The vast hero menu has been praised for its generous portion of fresh meats, crusty bread, and mouth-watering flavor combos. “Hands down the best hero place around,” happy eaters said.

With loads of mouth-watering options, you’ll have to keep coming back until you try every kind, and then you’ll want to try each and every unique and massive hero all over again. To name a couple of the many options, the Cordon Chub has fried chicken cutlets, ham, melted swiss cheese, served on a garlic hero with honey mustard and the Little Sasquach has roast beef, bacon, mac and cheese, sauteed onions, and savage sauce. A recent customer said they had high standards after reading the reviews and wasn’t disappointed. “That’s what a sandwich should look like!” they said.
